The protection of your personal data is a key concern for Bloonix. In this document, we inform you about which personal data is collected by Bloonix and how this data is processed. If you wish to contact us regarding any privacy concerns, you can reach us at security@bloonix.de or via the contact details provided in the Legal Notice.
When visiting the Bloonix website, information about the visit is stored on our servers. This information includes the IP address, timestamp, user agent, referrer, and the requested resource. This information is not shared with third parties and is only used internally for analytical purposes, for example, to evaluate attacks on our servers. The data is completely deleted after 7 days.
To use our services, registration is required. During registration, personal data is stored. This includes:
* Your username
* Your password
Your username and password are required to log in to the protected area of Bloonix. Passwords are not stored in plain text but as a hash using a strong hashing algorithm.
In addition, the following personal data is stored in our database:
* Your company
* Your full name
* Your full address
* Your phone number
* Your email address
* The IP address and timestamp of the registration
It is also possible to provide SEPA payment data such as account number and bank code. These details are optional and used for automated payment processing with Bloonix. Please note that your account information cannot be fully viewed after storage.
To process invoice payments, your company/name and bank account details are shared with our bank (Deutsche Bank). In addition, invoices are uploaded to DATEV in collaboration with our tax office for tax purposes. Beyond this, your personal data will not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances.
We use the web analytics tool Matomo for statistical analysis of visitor traffic. Matomo is configured in a privacy-friendly manner that does not set cookies.
Instead of cookies, we only collect anonymized access data, including:
* Your anonymized IP address (last two octets removed)
* Date and time of the request
* Browser type and version
* Operating system used
* Referrer URL (previously visited page)
The data processing is based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to improve and analyze our web offering. The data collected is not linked with other information or shared with third parties.
If you wish to opt out of Matomo tracking, you can enable the “Do Not Track” feature in your browser, which will prevent your visit from being recorded.
Cookies are only used by Bloonix when you log into the customer area with your registered data. Two cookies are set by Bloonix: the first contains a session ID that allows you to navigate within the logged-in area of Bloonix; the second stores language settings. These cookies are not used for any other data collection. After logging out, the cookies are removed. Additionally, cookies have a maximum lifetime. If you fail to log out properly, the cookies will be deleted automatically after a fixed period.
Social media buttons that transmit data to third parties without your consent are not used on Bloonix websites.
Bloonix sends newsletters to the email address provided during registration for technical notices and product updates. The email address can be changed at any time in the customer area. It is also possible to completely disable newsletters; however, we recommend against this, as you would otherwise not receive important technical notifications, such as planned maintenance on Bloonix infrastructure.
Under the German Federal Data Protection Act, you have the right to access and delete your data stored with Bloonix. If legal, contractual, or commercial/tax retention obligations prevent deletion, your data will be blocked instead.
When requesting deletion, please note that we can only remove IP addresses from our log files if you provide us with all IP addresses used to access our website. Please provide these IP addresses if known. If unknown, deletion is not possible. Note that IP addresses are automatically deleted after 7 days.
Please note that this Privacy Policy may change due to legal amendments or other reasons. We therefore ask you to review this Privacy Policy regularly.
